Kassel. Although we at fino do not rest on our laurels, but instead continuously work on developing further digital financial solutions, we are delighted about winning the Digital Champions Award Midwest. fino was honoured with the prize, which is awarded by Deutsche Telekom AG and Wirtschaftswoche, in the category “Digital Products and Services”.
“As a digital enterprise, we are of course particularly pleased to be honouredas ‘Digital Champion’. The award through Deutsche Telekom and Wirtschaftswoche means a lot to us”, says Alexander Vey, Head of Technology at fino.
Alexander Vey and Manuel Jäger received the prize at the awards ceremony during the course of a gala dinner and business event in the old Industrial Estate Fredenhagen in Offenbach. “fino stands for intelligent algorithms for bank account analysis”, Telekom stated in affirmation of the award.
The awards ceremony aside, one of the program’s highlights was Dr. Wladimir Klitschko’s keynote: “Telekom has the products that make peoples’ lives easier”, said the former heavy-weight world champion, including fino in this statement. After all, the company does offer products to simplify the financial life of businesses and private persons.
By winning the Midwest Awards in the regional preliminary decision, fino is automatically nominated for the national Digital Champions Award. The award ceremony will take place in November in Cologne.
fino started in 2015 with a staff of five.
