The Kassel-based FinTech company fino will introduceFINUX, its digital financial platform for SMBs, in the framework of the ING Accelerator Programme FinTech Village.
The invitation had been preceded by a call for tender by ING FinTech Village, that fino was able to decide upon. In the framework of this programme, fino and ING want to evaluate in what way FINUX has the potential to be implemented for the ING’s European corporate clients. For that reason, fino has been invited to present its intelligent solution to the broader ING audience. The participation in the Accelerator Programme gives fino the opportunity to test the solution in the coming months in a Proof of Concept with selected ING corporate clients.
The close exchange and the ING’s confidence in fino are an important indication:
“We are proving yet again that we understand bank accounts and documents, and that we are able to give end customers valuable insights into their finances. And we demonstrate that we are ready for the international stage”, says Lena Justen, co-founder of fino.
The goal: working together to strengthen SMBs
For ING, the FINUX concept is particularly valuable in the corporate clients sector. fino can lead ING corporate clients to a better understanding of their liquidity situation and show how real value can be added with the help of data science, document recognition and invoice matching. In return, fino can refer to the experience of a first-class major bank and expand its international presence.
fino started in 2015 with a staff of five. Today, the team works with over 100 employees in the three locations Kassel, Hamburg and Lübeck on a broad portfolio of digital products and services for clients from a banking and insurance background, as well as for end consumers. The companies counting on fino’s solutions include German and international credit institutions like Commerzbank, Sparkasse, Volksbank, insurances like R+V and other large enterprises like DATEV, SCHUFA, B.Braun, and the Lufthansa offspring Miles&More.Back
