This privacy statement by fino GmbH, Universitätsplatz 12, 34127 Kassel, aims to inform you as a user about which personal data will be collected and processed by us as the responsible acting party during your visit to our websites and in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation.

§2 Collection and usage of personal data

All data is collected as per the principle of data avoidance and data minimization. You are neither legally nor contractually bound to transmit your personal data to us. Insofar you decide against the entering or transmission of data, we cannot execute your order or the required service fully or at all.

§6 Logfiles and Cookies

Google Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service by Google Inc (“Google”). Google Analytics uses so-called “Cookies”, text files that are saved on your computer and enable an analysis of your website utilization. The information created by the Cookie regarding your utilization of this website is usually transmitted to and stored on a Google server in the USA. Through the activation of IP anonymization on this website, your IP address will be abbreviated by Google beforehand within the member states of the European Union or in other signatory states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and abbreviated there. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information to evaluate your utilization of the website, to compile reports on website activities, and to provide further services in relation to the website utilization and internet usage to the website operator. The IP address transmitted by your browser will not be merged with other data collected by Google.

The data determined by Google Analytics is automatically deleted after 14 months. The deletion takes places automatically once a month. The data is transmitted to the USA under the EU-US Privacy Shield on base of the Resolution of Adequacy of the European Commission. You can retrieve the certificate here.

You can generally prevent the capture of data through Google Analytics on websites you visit by downloading and installing the browser plugin provided in the following link. Insofar you use several browsers, you have to install the plugin in each one.
